Curiosity Rover

By Aarush A

Maybe there is life. Maybe there isn’t. The Curiosity Rover exploring Mars found signs of natural life in the rocks. NASA reported that the rover had discovered signs of methane, or a gas used to light stoves on earth. NASA also said that it could be a fluke or something of that effect. In addition, the rover found organic carbon in the rock that it drilled. The rover also found water in the rocks. Scientists were able to test the water using the rover’s onboard instruments. The finding of water was announced at a meeting on Monday December 15. This discovery of water leads scientists to believe that life might have once existed on Mars.
