Have someone on your holiday shopping list that is just so hard to buy for? Are you too cheap to buy anything anyone really wants? Are you broke? Do you really just want to make all of your gifts this year? Do you want to give something that you know will be unique? This is a compilation of DIY holiday gifts that would, first of all, be inexpensive, and, second of all, be totally awesome!
- This totally punny and incredibly delicious box of kisses
I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love chocolate and a good pun! Combine the two into one deliciously punny mixture of magic. It’s easy, and only costs a few dollars. Find the whole tutorial here: http://www.iheartnaptime.net/merry-kiss-mas/
- This easy DIY ipad case
Everyone has an ipad (kindle or tablet of some sort) these days, and if they don’t, this tutorial could be easily changed to fit any kind of device (laptop, tablet, ipad mini, phones etc.). This craft is not only useful, but easy. It only requires a few buttons, felt, and minimal sewing knowledge (and if you can’t sew, just use fabric glue). - This homemade hot cocoa kit
Everyone agrees that wintertime is perfect for hot cocoa. It is a delicious gift, so it will be gone soon and won’t create useless clutter that usually accumulates during the holiday season. This DIY is a little bit more involved, but the tutorial tells you how to make and/or how to get everything that you need for the DIY. It requires a small bucket from Target, but anything would work (a jar, a box, another bucket, a bag). Find the full tutorial here: http://www.iheartnaptime.net/homemade-hot-cocoa-kits/
- These Mini Cookie Snowglobes
Yet another delicious gift that everyone will, undoubtedly, love! Mini cookie snowglobes made of real cookies that you can really eat, and really enjoy (which might be confusing because at first, I thought it was a clay cookie inside a real snow globe, but now that I know it is a real cookie inside a fake snow globe, that makes it 1000% better!). This tutorial shows you how to make both the cookies and the icing. You could even try to make this with full sized cookies and jars (mostly because I don’t know where one would acquire that many mini jars). - These Scrabble Letter Ornaments
If you are anything like me, Scrabble leads to tons of fights amongst family members, so you have a lot of old Scrabble board games laying around your house. Find a great use for them by making them into decorations. These ornaments could easily be glued to a canvas to make a unique piece of wall decor, or just made how the tutorial says. The amount of words that you can create with this idea are endless, so enjoy, my friend. Find the full tutorial here: http://www.iheartnaptime.net/scrabble-letter/
