1. Turnips were used to make the first Jack O’Lanterns.
2. “Butter cream candies” and “chicken feed” were what they called candy corn back then, because corn was commonly used as food for livestock.
3. On Halloween, a full moon is very rare. The last full moon was in 2001 and the next one is in the year 2020.
4. Poor people in Britain would beg for soul cakes, a sweet-bread treat, and pray for dead relatives in return in the Middle Ages. This was instead of going door to door for candy like modern Americans now take part in.
5. Six-hundred million pounds of candy a year is purchased  by Americans during Halloween. This is the same weight as 16 billion fun size Snickers bars or 158 trillion individual Candy Corns.
6. The fear of Halloween is called Samhainophobia.
7. The fastest time to carve a face into a pumpkin is 20.1 seconds, accomplished by David Finkle from the United Kingdom; according to The Guinness Book of World Records.
8. Belleville, Illinois banned trick-or-treating for kids over 12 in 2010. People who do not follow the law, can face fines from $100 to $1,000 for going door-to-door.
9. Dark and milk chocolates can last up to two years if kept in a dry, odor-free place. Hard candy can last up to a year; while unopened packages of candy corn can last nine months.
10. Most of a pumpkin is made of water.

9. Why do witches fly on brooms?                              Because vacuums are too heavy

• In Toy Story 1 When Andy leaves with Molly, he leaves her crib railing down. However, the crib railing is mysteriously pushed back up in the scene of Woody announcing “the coast is clear.”
• In Toy Story 2 During the second half of the film, Al wears a green shirt. However, he is seen wearing his red shirt for the time of one shot while he is driving to the airport with the toys chasing him.
• In Ratatouille right before Chef Skinner exits the kitchen in an attempt to stop the soup from being delivered, there’s no ladder to the right of the door. When Skinner enters the kitchen after exiting, a ladder appears next to the door.
• In Monsters University, Mike and Sulley met in college. But at the beginning of Monsters, Inc., Mike told Sulley “You’ve been jealous of my good looks since the fourth grade pal.”
• Before Flynn cuts off Rapunzel’s hair, there is a shot where he strokes her hair behind her ear and he doesn’t have a shackle on his arm. But in the next shot the shackle reappears. This is in Disney’s movie Tangled.
