Wright Way Club Food Drive

By Sydney G.

In honor of Thanksgiving, the Wright Way Club from Daniel Wright JHS is hosting a food drive for the Vernon Township Food Pantry from November third to fourteenth. Students and staff, please bring in nonperishable foods, pasta, instant potatoes, crackers, baked beans, kleenex, toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, cookies, jello cups, pudding cups, fruit juice, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and much more. The full list of suggested donations is located in the link below. Food in glass containers and homemade goods will not be accepted. Hunger is a frequent problem, even in our own backyards. By donating even just a few cans YOU can help make a difference. When your parents run to the store this weekend please think about the families who are in need of a nice dinner and grab a few nonperishable items. Each student who brings in food will have the opportunity to be part of a raffle. The winner will get to throw a whipped cream pie into the face of a teacher they can pick off a selective list. Thank you for participating and good luck!
